About Lauren Brechner
Lauren Brechner, Founder of Ember Forge Consulting, LLC, is an innovator of process and design with 13 years of application in diverse practices. She advocates for and creates human-centered solutions through user experience design, operations strategy, and innovative problem-solving.
Prior to founding Ember Forge, she led digital course production at McKinsey & Company. She managed a global team of specialists, senior analysts, and vendors to develop digital programs for McKinsey clients across a broad range of industries, including banking, government, and technology. In her 6 years there, she led the development of scalable, lean processes that ensured the growing team would be aligned during a time of significant client demand. She additionally reduced her team's operating expenses by two-thirds within one year.
Before joining McKinsey, Lauren led the comprehensive digital user experience and web content strategy for CCIM Institute, a global commercial affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. As a technical marketer, she developed and deployed multi-channel marketing campaigns that led to significant member capture and retention and developed the association's digital experience across a growing number of websites and web apps.
Lauren received her BA in Music from Valparaiso University and her AA in Humanities from Purdue University Northwest.
